The commercial hot rolled coil spot import market in Southeast Asia is seeing thin buying interest because of buyers' bearish expectations and uncertainties over the global macroeconomic outlook. Traders are giving Chinese offers of SS400B 3-12mm thick HRC at $640-645/tonne cfr Vietnam, whereas Chinese mills themselves are making export offers at $630-640/t fob ($650-670/t cfr SE Asia), compared to around $640/t fob last week.
